I like tutoring and am very good at helping students to understand and learn math. I explain the "big picture" and use common sense and simple concepts to help them to solve math problems. In contrast most teachers get bogged down with details which makes math very hard to learn. I can help you learn more in less time than you would imagine.
My Professional Background
Earned a PhD in physics at Harvard University on a National Science Foundation Scholarship. After working as an engineer at Raytheon Co., Mobil Solar Energy and Hewlett Packard, I decided I would like to teach. Have taught high school math for one year, taught and tutored math, physics, electronics and programming at ITT-Tech for 7 years and am now teaching math and physics at SCC as an adjunct professor.
